Laura Galati is a fashion designer whose work focuses on the principles of craftsmanship and creating consciously. Her process-based practice combines traditional and contemporary making techniques to form a modern approach to creating knitwear. Her work has been shown at Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, Melbourne Design Week, Berlin Fashion Week and Pitti Immagine Filati in Florence. Laura studied a Bachelor of Fashion Design (Honours) at RMIT University and has recently completed her Master in Knitwear Design at the Accademia Costume e Moda, Rome.
